Wimbledon 2004

on BBC Two England

Live coverage of day eight of the tournament, which should see the conclusion of the ladies' singles quarter-finals.
This time last year, the Americans took over Centre
Court, with the Williams sisters Venus and Serena each knocking out a compatriot on their way to securing spots in the final four. Perhaps the matches took their toit. though, as, later that same day on Court One, the sisters were knocked out of the ladies' doubles by Russian pair Elena Dementieva and Lina Krasnoroutskaya. Court One proved luckier for Frenchman Sebastien Grosjean as he finished off the fourth round of the men's singles - and his Spanish opponent, number three seed Juan Carlos
Ferrero - in a four-set battle that included two tie-breaks.
Sue Barker presents the action, with Tracey Austin,
Chris Bailey , John Barrett , Boris Becker , Pat Cash , Andrew Castle , John Lloyd , John McEnroe , David Mercer and Sam Smith providing the commentary. BBCi: digital viewers can select action from up to seven courts and access the latest scores and news by pressing the red button on their remote control
