The year is 1870 and Tsar Alexander II of Russia is threatened by an army of Siberian tribesmen who have severed the lines of communication between his army and Moscow. Michael Strogoff, a brave and trusted officer, is given the dangerous task of penetrating the enemy lines and delivering vital information to the Tsar's beleaguered army.
This exciting Jules Verne story has been the subject of three films, and this particular version was first shown in 1937.
