D-Day: Saturday Night Theatre: Road to Normandy

on BBC Radio 4 FM

Another chance to hear Douglas Livingstone's tribute to the D-Day landings, written after he, the director and the sound recordist attended the 40th anniversary ceremonies in 1984. It tells the story of Dave, played by Ronald Pickup, who goes reluctantly to the reunion, unwilling to face the ghosts from the past and one ghost in particular.
