Fine Cut: Raising Hell

on BBC Two England

Another opportunity to see this award-winning documentary, first shown in May 1995, about a convicted murderer awaiting execution in a Missouri jail. Alan "AJ" Bannister has been on Death Row for nearly 15 years and has always protested his innocence. This film chronicles the weeks before his original execution date in 1994, when he received a stay of execution with just two hours to spare. The date has now been reset for 22 October, but campaigners are still trying to save his life.
