Music Restored: Venetian Mass for Easter Sunday

on BBC Radio 3

Lucie Skeaping introduces music from a concert given by His Majesties Sagbutts and Cornetts last Sunday at the Maltings, Snape. The programme recreates the Easter masses as they may have been celebrated at St Mark's in Venice around 1600 and features the music of Andrea Gabriell - in particular the Missa Pater Peccavi.
