Shaking the Heavens: A Life in Reverse

on BBC Two England

A series of personal documentaries giving voice to the wisdom of years.

Using her pension as a student grant, Minna Keal achieved the dream she had suppressed since adolescence. Now 83 years old, she is a well-regarded composer of serious music, working every day on her scores in a shed behind the garage. She says she's "living her life in reverse". Her husband isn't too keen on being left to do the washing, but he can't deny she has a major talent that nearly didn't flower.
