Traditional Music

on BBC Radio 3

World Tour
Jo Shinner focuses on the music of the Orkestar Shqiponja de Tirana, from
Albania. After four centuries of Turkish rule and 50 years of the Hoxa regime, Albania's traditional music has only recently emerged on to the world stage.
