The act begins with the excitement and exhilaration of the Ride of the Valkyrie. It continues with Sieglinde's exaltation when she learns that she is carrying in her womb the child of her union with Siegmund and ends with a magnificent scene between Wotan and his erring daughter BrUnnhilde.
