Nichols, Cannon, and Vitale, the president and vice-presidents of a company called Amertronic, are engaged on guided-missile work. The three are flying in a private plane to Cape Canaveral (now Cape Kennedy) when Cannon opens his suitcase and finds that it contains a bomb. Vitale manages to defuse it but that cannot be an end to the matter. The F.B.I, are called in, and their first obvious suspect is Cannon's wife who packed the case...
