Fred Astaire as Bert Kalmar and comedian Red Skelton as Harry Ruby , the famous songwriting team of the 20s. Their tempestuous creative relationship is traced with a generous selection of their songs including Three Little Words, You Are My Lucky Star, I Wanna Be Loved By You and Where Did You Get That Girl.
