World Snooker

on BBC Two England

The last two world championship quarter-final places will be decided today with coverage from the Crucible in Sheffield of the final day of round two.

Four of the world's top ten - Ken Doherty, Stephen Lee, Alan McManus and John Parrott - all departed at this stage last year. Six-times champion Steve Davis, who is at the tournament this year in his capacity as a commentator, was also knocked out, but pushed John Higgins all the way before bowing out 13-11.

Presented by Dougie Donnelly and Matt Smith, with Clive Everton, Ray Edmonds, Dennis Taylor, John Virgo and Willie Thorne in the commentary positions.
