An innovative drama, written by Michael Russell and with music by Carl Davis , that centres on a few days in the lives of three young people. It aims for a realistic style by filming on a camcorder, often in public places and with no artificial lighting or effects.
"When I was a kid, we used to go to this farm in Norfolk. Miles from anywhere. It was so dark at night. Like it's never dark in London. The more you looked, the more you could see."
When Baz offers them a lift in a stolen car to stay with friends in Norfolk, it doesn't take long for Cassie and Steve to accept. It's that or surviving in London with no home, no money and no job. But their journey proves to be even darker than the lives they have left behind.
