'The "strategic" location of industry'
F.G. Thomas

This evening's broadcast will show by various examples how in recent years industry has been deliberately located in areas likely to benefit from it. In taking into account the needs of both the area and the industry, the maximum economic and social benefit is sought. The localisation of industry in the special areas provides working proof of the scheme, and references will be made in the broadcast to the three trading estates of Hillington, near Glasgow, Team Valley, Tyneside, and Treforest, South Wales.
