Millions of people in the UK suffer the devastating effects of living with a skin disease - rangingfrom being stared and pointed at, to family break-up. For many, long-term psychological damage or even suicide can result.
Ashley Medicks , a suffererfor 24 years, has made this programme to bring about a positive change in public attitude. He travels to the Dead Sea to meet fellow sufferers and to explore the beneficial psychological effect of being among fellow sufferers. Hisfilm delves deep beneath the epidermis and exposes the reality of living with a skin condition.
