Horizon: Ecstasy and Agony

When professional stuntman Tim Lawrence was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 34 there seemed no escape from a progressive paralysis. Medication helps slow the progress, but has devastating side-effects. Two years later, however, Lawrence discovered a substance that temporarily relieved these symptoms. The chemical was MDMA, better known as the illegal drug Ecstasy.
