Play School: Useful Box Day

on BBC Two England

A programme for children at home.
Presenters this week, Carol Chell, John White

This is the time of year for frost, ice, and snow. Today Carol makes a snowman with cotton wool, and in Friday's experiment John finds out what happens when ice is dropped into water. The poem heard every day is about a robin in the snow, and on Wednesday Carol and John make a 'nut-string' to help feed the birds on cold winter days.
Today's story is called 'Skitter, Hope, and Camberley open a shop'
(to 11.20)
