The broadcasting of languages to schools is tending more and more to invite the participation with pen, pencil, or voice of young listeners. Spelling bees in French have already been broadcast with great success, and this afternoon a new kind of class-room competition will be broadcast. Listeners should have by them a piece of ruled paper on which they should write the numbers 1 to 10. Clues will then be given for ten words which are to be written against the appropriate numbers.
