from Probus Gardens, Cornwall
Presented by Geoff Hamilton and Clay Jones
Cornwall Education
Committee set out in the 70s to create a permanent demonstration area of about seven acres to display gardening techniques and the results of recent gardening research. It is also a place where both the absolute beginner and the experienced gardener can spend the day learning more about the subject in an enjoyable way. There are over 60 exhibits dealing with topics as diverse as the history of plants in Britain and various experiments in different types of plant culture. Production assistant CHRISTINE HARDMAN
