Director Nick Broomfield investigates the circumstances in which grunge rock star
Kurt Cobain died in 1994, looking at the conspiracy theories surrounding his death and delving into the drug culture of the West Coast rock scene. The film concludes with a confrontation between Broomfield and Cobain's widow, Hole singer Courtney Love.
