Third in the series following the work of a South London community mental health team.
After throwing her furniture out of the window, walking the streets in her nightie and playing the same song at top volume for three days, Valerie is brought into Springfield Psychiatric Hospital by the police. She has been admitted to hospital 26 times in the past decade and the psychiatric team want to break the cycle of her manic highs, but Valerie insists she has only been celebrating her birthday. She is forcibly detained but as the medication begins to work, how will this funny, warm person be affected?
