A scene from A Clean Kill

on BBC Television

by Michael Gilbert.
Televised direct from the Duchess Theatre, London by arrangement with Alastair Sim and E. P. Clift

In the small laboratory at the back of his house in Putney, chemist Charles Reese has perfected a new cleaning fluid that is entirely odourless. Helped by his assistant Ann Patten, and his solicitor Mr. Schofield, he hopes to put it on the market. But his wife is the stumbling block - both to his professional ambitions and to his private desires. It could be to everyone's advantage, however, that she happens to be a heavy drinker.
