Water Dripping in a Bowl
"The fingernail loom and the weaver's song; the nightingale's floor and the temple boxers; the riverbank musicians and the water trade; kyukyu, sha-sha, bdiri-bdiri, shin-shin." Here are the sounds, songs, words and silences of the city that was Japan's capital for more than a thousand years.
