Ray Mears' Extreme Survival: Namibia

on BBC Two England

Mears tests his wits against the unforgiving Skeleton Coast, a fearsome place where rain is almost unknown and the temperature can soar to 50°C. He retells the story of the ship Dunedin Star, wrecked against the coast in 1942, whose crew survived while a land convoy crossed 600 miles of uncharted desert to rescue them.
