A series of wild-life programmes.
Introduced by Peter Scott.
The giraffe is a friendly animal. He associates with other creatures and is regarded by them as part of the background of Africa, into which he merges so successfully. He hardly ever sleeps: night and day he sees all that goes on around him from his lofty height. But, if a giraffe could talk, what story would he tell? Mervyn Cowie, Director of the Royal National Parks of Kenya, turns his films into a story of Africa as seen through the eyes of a giraffe.
