2: The Road to Babi Yar
1941: Erik Dorf 's career progresses rapidly as he assists Heydrich in devising methods for exterminating the Jews of Eastern Europe. The Weiss family are now scattered: Josef and Berta have been reunited in Warsaw, Karl is in Buchenwald and Inga travels to visit him. Rudi has married Helena and together they have escaped East. In Kiev they witness the massacre at Babi Yar.
