A programme for children under five
'My son, just four years old' writes a mother, 'has been waiting patiently for six months or more for a repeat of the tales of Sam and Little Wu. About once a week I have to repeat the story of the Muffin Man and his bell, but I am sure I am straying from the original, so we would both be grateful to hear it again, please, so that I can then continue the proper version for the next six months! He can't understand why so many tales are repeated and not "his special one," and he never misses a programme in case it is told when he doesn't switch on.' Here, then, is fair warning to both mother and son - Julia Lang will tell these stories by Mary Sole again this week.
