A season of programmes following the lives of people from all four corners of the nation.

Having spent most of the last 15 years in prison, 35-year-old Tony, from Bolton, has reached a crossroads. Abused by his father as a child, violence has featured prominently in Tony's life but now, with his latest prison sentence nearing completion, he has decided to go straight and set an example to his five children. This film follows Tony's efforts to start a new life.
