(This programme will be repeated on Wednesday, April 12)

This ballet is built round Hogarth's eight pictures, which are kept at the Soane Museum in Lincoln's Inn Fields, London. It is now an established favourite in the Sadler's Wells repertoire. This, however, will be the first performance in the television studio, and, incidentally, the first ballet production by Royston Morley, who usually handles drama.
