Gordon Beningfield, whose paintings of the countryside and its wildlife have been a popular feature of this series, looks back over his year as an artist in the country.
The annual Meet at the Squire's home - the fox and the game-keeper - fresh molehills and hawthorn - young pheasants and trout. The village of Great Gaddesden in Hertfordshire celebrates the arrival of the new season out on the cornfield and the cricket green.
