Boxing Finals
The most protracted Olympic sport reaches its final day and this first session of Finals from the Los Angeles Sports Arena. It's a hard road but success at this level has brought fame and fortune to some now legendary names in the sport - Cassius Clay , Sugar Ray Leonard , Leon Spinks , Joe Frazier , George Foreman and the mighty Cuban amateur Teofilio Stevenson.
Since the war British fighters have won gold through Terry Spinks and Dick McTaggart in 1956 and Chris Finnegan in 1968. Commentator HARRY CARPENTER
