Beaune 76

on BBC Two England

The wine trade of the world flocks to Beaune on the third weekend of November to compare notes about the new vintage, to indulge in three days of gastronomic overkill, but above all, to buy at the ritualistic Hospices de Beaune charity wine auction.
This film looks at some of the events of that weekend last year and the people who took part in them.
