First of a two-part drama set in the rugged Australian outback.
Jack Simmonds is a Jackaroo, a cattle ranch hand and the son of a part-Aboriginal itinerant worker. He ends up at Glen Ayre , a huge cattle ranch which, it transpires, he has a claim to. But when he falls in love with the tough owner's niece his troubles really begin.
