She spent her honeymoon in the Scottish Highlands taking three days to drive there in a 'Tin Lizzy' - the first of many cars mass-produced by Henry Ford. These were the days when the only roadside mechanics were blacksmiths, and if you had a bad puncture you would stuff the tyre full of straw until you came across somebody willing to help you change the wheel.
