Japan is the most powerful Eastern competitor that European industrialists have to face. Commander
Stephen King-Hall 's talk-the script will be read by Ralph Arnold-deals largely with the problems arising from Japan's industrialisation. King-Hall's views are unorthodox. He thinks there is a great deal of alarmist nonsense talked about Japanese competition, for instance ; and suggests that the difficulties of Eastern and Western co-operation for the common good arc not so formidable as many experts believe.
