Earlier this year Max and Elisabeth Robertson made an extensive tour of the British West Indies with their film cameras, and in the first of this new series of six Caribbean journeys they invite you to come with them to British Guiana. A brief look at Georgetown, the capital, and they set off on a visit to a large sugar plantation to meet some of the people who work there. Later they begin the four-hour journey up the Demerara River into the jungleland of the interior.
