The Book Programme

on BBC Two England

Introduced by Robert Robinson
Books of the Year
For the last programme in 1974 three writers each nominate their choice from the year's books - biographer Lady Antonia Fraser, novelist Brigid Brophy and Richard Adams, author of Watership Down and Shardik.
Also, customers of the mobile library in Swaledale, North Yorkshire, talk on film about the books they've been reading this year.
