A comedy by Dennis Driscoll.
Second performance: Thursday at 9.45 p.m.

In her tiny home in the industrial town of Cluney Maggie Lomax suddenly finds that her family life is full of complications. A young American becomes an unexpected guest and devotes much attention to her daughter. Her son David comes home with a Bachelor of Science degree only to announce that he does not want to get the sort of 'white-collar' job Maggie had always planned for him. And to complicate things further David is pursued by a pretty girl from London.
In this riotous North-Country farce it is Maggie's husband, Walter, who takes most of the kicks. But although he seems more interested in rearing chickens and in exchanging secrets with his neighbour Amos Entwistle, perhaps he knows enough to be able to straighten out the tangles of his household, and to set Maggie's mind at rest.
