A charming musical remake of The Strawberry Blonde - also directed by Walsh. A young dentist, looking back over the past ten years of his life, realises just how lucky - in love - he has been. The late 19th-century setting is charmingly enhanced by ' barber-shop ' quartets, attractive tunes and the pastel-shaded technicolor.
