Pook has been commissioned to write the music for Stanley Kubrick's new film, Eyes Wide Shut, and for a history of the papacy, Saints and Sinners. As well as touring for three years with the Communards, she founded
Electra Strings, performing with artists like Peter Gabriel , PJ Harvey , Paul Weller , the Cranberries, Lyle Lovett and the Manic Street Preachers.
