Compass: Pensions - Double Trouble

on BBC Two England

Dr Ngaire Woods, a fellow in politics at University College, Oxford, takes an in-depth look over eight programmes at some major issues of concern.

Young people starting work today can no longer rely on the state pension to look after them during their retirement.
In tonight's programme, Dr Woods examines the Government's plans to relieve pressure on the state scheme by introducing individual stakeholder pensions linked to stocks and shares. But will these radical proposals secure a comfortable old age or prove to be just another form of taxation?
