Continuing his investigations into the two murders, Det.-Inspector Mitchell arrives at the Hot Piano Club as Tago Bentley is claiming the lighter found by the police at Biggs's house. Tago is held for questioning. Mitchell's son Ken, who is a member of the Club, and David Ashton, who Mitchell believes was meant to be the third victim, have been asked to go to the Police Station.
