2-' The Fate of a Cotton
Town'
Canon Roger Lloyd
Canon Lloyd, who is now Residentiary Canon and Diocesan Missioner of Winchester, was from 1932 to 1937 vicar of the small Lancashire town of Great Harwood. He therefore saw the effects of the slump at first hand, and this evening he will tell listeners how the people of Great Harwood faced this crisis.
