Last March Johnny spent a few days in the beautiful old walled city of Dubrovnik before taking a steamer along the Dalmatian coast to visit two of the hundreds of Adriatic islands - Korcula, the childhood home of Marco Polo , and, further north, the lavender island of Hvar.
