The Belgian International Flower Show
Opened by The King and Queen of The Belgians, and visited by half a million people, the Floralies can only be described as ' one of the greatest flower shows in the world'.
In just five days the Congress centre in Ghent is transformed, as the seasons are drawn together into a blazing display of colour: Belgian azaleas, Italian roses and Dutch daffodils.
Peter Seabrook walks the three miles in and amongst the international exhibits, including ' An English Country Garden', the official British entry.
