Jeff is being blackmailed. Either he helps with a bank robbery or Jim, his father-in-law and the local Sheriff, is told of an age-old crime of Jeff's. Jim thinks that all crimes should be severely punished, no matter how old or what the circumstances are. It seems Jeff will get into trouble either way.
