An appeal on behalf of the WEST CORNWALL HOSPITAL, PENZANCE, by the Right Hon. WALTER RUNCIMAN ,
D.C.L., LL.D., M.P. The West Cornwall Hospital, Penzance, is in need of £ 20,000 to carry out , urgent extensions, for the present accommodation is quite inadequate to cope with the growing demands, and ' there is a long waiting list for beds. ' It serves not only its own local people, ' but also the large visiting population ' from every county in England.
One of Cornwall's contributions to the national well-being is to provide a playground for thousands of visitors. The West Cornwall Hospital. appeals for a thank-offering, so that it may be enabled to open its doors to all who need its help.
