Grand Prix - The 1987 Formula One World Championship British Grand Prix

on BBC Two England

Back at Silverstone this year, this is one of the quickest circuits on the Grand Prix tour. Britain's Nigel Mansell needs to win to keep the pressure on Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. It was Prost who won the race when it was last held here in 1985 - a whole lap ahead of the rest of the field.
Changes to the circuit mean that the renowned Woodcote Corner has had the chicane removed and a tight left-right turn added - but they'll still be going pretty quickly and there's plenty of high-speed action expected.
