Horizon: Mystery of the Persian Mummy

on BBC Two England

When the mummy of a Persian princess was discovered in Pakistan last year, it made headline news worldwide. Covered in gold jewellery, and believed to be over 2,500 years old, it had been offered for sale on the antiquities black market for $20 million. But under a detailed examination, it soon became clear that this precious find was not what it seemed-turning an archaeological triumph into a modern-day murder hunt.
