A modern ballet fantasy from Hungary on the eternal theme of boy meets girl.
Elaborately filmed, and with pop songs included in its jazz-based score, Winter Love includes studio sequences that rival the best Hollywood tradition in their wit and polish.
But it is the exterior scenes, filmed on and around Lake Balaton, that give the ballet a charm and beauty that is distinctively Hungarian.
Danced by the Ballet Company of the National Theatre of Pecs.
