Hot on the heels of the European Championships and Commonwealth Games, live coverage of tonight's Grand Prix meeting at Crystal Palace, as some of the top names in the sport go head to head for the biggest one-day athletics meeting of the year so far.
For the first time this year Marion Jones will take on Zhanna Pintusevich-Block , who shocked her over 100m at last year's World Championships in Edmonton.The men's 100m sees the best field of the year assembled as Maurice Greene and Tim Montgomery present the American challenge to the hottest of Britain's young sprinters, led by newly-crowned European champion
Dwain Chambers. Namibia's Frankie Fredericks should not be counted out after his 200m Commonwealth Gold.
Meanwhile, Morocco's Hicham El Guerrouj will try to break his own world record in the historic Emsley Carr Mile.
Jonathan Edwards , Colin Jackson , Wilson Kipketer ,
Jan Zelezny , Maria Mutola , Svetlana Feofanova , Gail Devers , Sonia O'Sullivan , Allen Johnson and Steve Backley are also due to take part and make this the strongest field ever assembled for a British meeting.
